An Embarrassing Typo

In South Bend, Indiana, a billboard was put up as a means of advertising for the city’s public schools. It read, “15 best things about our PUBIC schools.” Needless to say, the missing “l” in the word “public” was noticed by many drivers who passed the advertisement, and it was taken down in a matter of days. The billboard may be gone, but I’m sure the situation remains a thorn in the side of South Bend public school’s public relations professionals.
