The McRib is Back

McDonald’s Restaurant has brought back an old favorite–the

McRib Sandwich. Personally, I have never tasted a McRib before,

but apparently this sandwich is good enough to miss when it’s not on

the menu and now it’s back by popular demand. I heard about it

via all of my social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr) and

even the Yahoo home page.  Have you ever eaten a McRib?

  1. I can honestly say that I have never tried a McRib, nor do I necessarily have the desire to. Something about having ribs at McDonald’s slapped between two hamburger buns doesn’t exactly sound like my cup of tea. However, if you enjoy the McRib, all the more power to you! It’s great that McDonald’s has public relations employees out there scouting out what consumers desire and has brought back a sandwich that was apparently missed so much as to be brought back. Actually, I didn’t even know the McRib was gone in the first place since I never have ordered one before. However, maybe the PR folks of Mickey D’s should throw a “McRib Sneak Attack Back!” Party. Or something of the sort to truly get people talking.

  3. I hate to say it but when I saw this post I had a bad feeling in my stomach. I do not understand how the “McRib” can be good for people. I have never had a McRib but the commercials and what I have heard about it keep me far away from it. A friend of mine recently told me that they poor the “mystery meat” into a mold to look like ribs and that’s how the meat takes it’s shape. I think McRib needs to go and stay away for a very long time.

  4. I find this so hilarious, and it proves how obsessed America can be with food. It is a sandwich people, and to see all this hype over a sandwich being reintroduced to the public is just sad. Maybe it could be that I have never tasted this fantastic specimen of a sandwich, but I don’t think I will be in the present or future. It just doesn’t sound appetizing to me in the least, and if you love it, then more power to you! Go on a celebrate that the McRib is back!
